Selling a Textbook
1) Post your Book
It's free to post and takes only seconds. A small transaction fee applies only if your book sells.
2) Meet and Exchange
You recieve a message from the buyer and their email when they purchase your book. Schedule a time to meet on campus.
3) Confirm Delivery
Confirm delivery by submitting the buyers 6-string confirmation code. You may then be paid via Paypal, Dwolla or Square Cash.
Buying a Textbook
1) Buy your Book
There are no added fees and sign up is not required. The seller is only paid if delivery is confirmed. Pay using a debit or credit card.
2) Meet and Exchange
We send the seller your message at checkout along with your email. Schedule a time to meet on campus to pick up the textbook.
3) Confirm Delivery
At the time of the meeting, provide the seller with the confirmation code that you recieve in an email with your purchase. That's it!

Terms and Conditions


This is a legal agreement between us (wolftextbooks.com hereafter known as "we") and you (the user of this website).

When you use this website, you're agreeing to all of these terms and conditions.

1.) There is no cost to post books and no additional charge to buy books. Fees apply when a book is sold. Our fees are 15% of the book list price (covered by the seller). Amazon charges 15% + $2.35 for book sales.

2.) If you buy a book and the seller does not deliver it you may request a full refund by emailing support@wolftextbooks.com. There is no charge for refunds and they may be claimed within 365 days of the orginal sale.

3.) A dashboard balance will be available when a book is sold and the transaction is confirmed. Payments are sent or mailed within periods of up to two weeks. Clicking "Withdraw Funds" in your dashboard and adding your payment information will add you to the next cycle.

4.) Buyers are paid through PayPal or check (your choice). If PayPal is used, the seller is responsible for all applicable PayPal fees (2.9% + 30 cents as of November 2013).

5.) Your personal information is protected, and will not be stored or shared with third parties. However, your email will be shared with the buyer or seller of whom you purchase or sell a book to.

6.) All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. Your connection to Wolf Textbooks is encrypted using AES_256_CBC, with SHA1 for message authentication and DHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism.

7.) You waive any claim whatsoever against, and hold harmless wolftextbooks.com and it's owners, staff, advisors, representatives, and designees.

8.) Neither wolftextbooks.com nor any of it's owners, staff, advisors, representatives, and designees shall be liable in any way whatsoever for damages - indirect or direct - that arise from you using this website.

9.) We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

10.) If you are not currently a student you must obtain permission to post by emailing geoff@wolftextbooks.com.

Internships


I'm looking for students who are interested in a paid part time intership. The overall goal of the internship is to get students to list books and order through the website. Pay may be commision based or hourly depending on which responsibilities are decided on.

This is a very flexible and unstructured intership. If you're interested please send me an email of any ideas you may have and/or explain how you believe you could be a beneficial part of the team at geoff@wolftextbooks.com.

Frequently asked Questions


How does the seller deliver the book?

Sellers and buyers contact emails are exchanged when a book is purchased. You must arrange arrange a time to meet on campus and exchange the book.

Is Wolf Textbooks free to use?

It will always be free to post books and there is no additional fee for buying. There will be a 15% transaction fee deducted from the sale price if a book sells. This is deducted from the sellers balance.

What is the confirmation code for?

A 6-digit confirmation code is generated each time a book is sold. The buyer can exchange this code for the book they purchased. The seller can then enter the code in their dashboard to confirm the transaction.

What if the seller does not deliver my textbook?

Send us an email at support@wolftextbooks.com and we will give you a full refund.
